Wishing to foster religious life among Byzantine Catholic faithful in the United States, Pope Paul VI issued the decree "Christi Ecclesia" officially establishing the Eparchy of Parma on Feb. 21, 1969.
In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, an annual event held from January 28 to February 3, 2024, Bishop Robert made a special visit to St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Elementary School in Cleveland, Ohio.

In my teaching here, I wish to give specific focus to each of these components of our faith-life as we look to an eparchial Church that grows and thrives in the spirit of what Pope Francis calls missionary discipleship.
Currently, we are at 68% of our goal of $220,000 with $149,898 raised and an additional $7405 pledged. We have had 500 very generous donors. Congratulations to these three parishes for exceeding their parish goals: Byzantine Catholic Outreach in Iowa, St. Nicholas, Munster, & Dormition of the Mother of God, Cleveland.
