Please remember in your prayers Sister Euphemia Kopa, O.S.B.M., who fell asleep in the Lord very early on Holy Saturday at the age of 98, in the 80th year of her religious life. She entered the Sisters of St. Basil in 1946 and professed perpetual vows in 1953. Sister Euphemia devoted 52 years to education, lovingly forming young children—especially those preparing for their first Confession and Communion—before continuing her ministry at the monastery in Uniontown. There she served in the Vestment Department, assisted with baking, and became especially known for her dedicated leadership of the Medovniki project. She will be laid to rest at Mount St. Macrina in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
In blessed repose, grant eternal rest, O Lord, to your departed handmaid Sister Euphemia and remember her forever.
