Fore the Faith Brings Golfers Together

The inaugural Fore the Faith Golf Outing brought more than 40 golfers together at Seneca Golf Course last Friday (October 16, 2026) for a day of fellowship, friendship, and golf. Despite the cold, wind, and rain, it was a wonderful day. The outing was hosted by St. Joseph Parish in Brecksville and St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Fairview Park.

Thank you to our golfers and sponsors for their support, including Hopko Funeral Home, CBIZ, Unity Catholic Federal Credit Union, and St. Joseph’s Men’s Group and Ladies Auxiliary, whose generosity helped make the outing possible. We also extend a special thank-you to the volunteer team whose time and hard work made the day a success: Cole Metzer, Rick Trompak, Dan Dunchak, Mike Andrako, Alex Heinly, Joe Tombazzi, and Nick Lizanich. Additional thanks to Fr. Jan for the opening blessing and to Deacon Greg, who braved the rain at the ninth hole, where golfers could support the shrine by participating in the “Shrine at 9” Buy-a-Drive. We are grateful to everyone who helped make Fore the Faith a success!
