Congratulations to Fr. Andrew Summerson!

The Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute recently announced that our very own, Fr. Andrew Summerson, S.Th.D., has been granted tenure at the University of St. Michael’s College and promoted to Associate Professor. A scholar of Greek Patristics and Eastern Christian Studies, Fr. Andrew is the author of Divine Scripture and Human Emotion in Maximus the Confessor (Brill, 2021) and co-editor of Eastern Catholic Theology in Action (CUA Press, 2024). We are grateful for his ongoing contributions to the Institute, the Faculty of Theology, and the Church.
