August is Make-a-Will Month—a meaningful time to reflect on how we care for what God has entrusted to us. As faithful Christians, stewardship doesn’t end with life; it includes making intentional decisions about the resources we leave behind.

A will is a simple yet powerful way to express love, provide clarity, and ensure our earthly blessings are shared in accordance with our values and faith. Whether your estate is large or small, simple or complex, preparing a will is an act of faithful responsibility.

At every Divine Liturgy we pray, “Remember, O Lord, those who bring offerings and perform good deeds in your holy Churches.” This August, as you reflect on your blessings, consider how your legacy might continue to serve the Church.

Including the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma in your will, or even creating an actual trust, is a heartfelt way to express gratitude and support our mission for generations to come.
