On July 10–11, 2025, Bishop Robert warmly welcomed Bishop Mathew Nellikunnel of the Catholic Diocese of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, to the Chancery of the Eparchy of Parma. Bishop Mathew, a Syro-Malabar bishop, was given a tour of the chancery and the cathedral. This meaningful visit highlighted the unity and fraternity shared between Eastern Catholic Churches, as two bishops from different traditions came together in faith and fellowship.
