In celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) launched a groundbreaking video project highlighting the enduring significance of the Nicene Creed. During the November 2024 Plenary Assembly, eleven bishops—including Bishop Robert Pipta—were interviewed in partnership with Ascension Press to present the Creed in an approachable, engaging format. These videos, now available on Ascension’s YouTube channel, mark a first-of-its-kind initiative to amplify the bishops’ voices across online platforms and social media. Timely and relevant, this series resonates especially as we observe the Sunday of the Fathers of the Six Ecumenical Councils, honoring those who defended and defined our shared faith.
